What Do People Say About Us?"Ashanti Witherspoon is one of the most powerful motivational speakers I have ever witnessed. He has spoken at two of our drug court graduations. The impact of one of his presentations was so great that we didn't have one single problem in the drug court program for at least three months. I'd recommend him for any hard core situations." Justice Marion Edwards, Fifth Circuit Appeals Court "When Ashanti Witherspoon spoke as the featured speaker of Law Day, a program that is sponsored by Bar Associations throughout the country, he was by far the greatest speaker that has every been presented by our foundation. The impact that he had on the youths and judges was remarkable." Donna Buck, Coordinator of the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation "Ashanti and Carol's teachings on Knowledge, Faith & Works have had a tremendous impact on my life. Carol Witherspoon's testimony on overcoming the immobility of a stroke and pushing forward to be the best that she can be gives courage to anyone who has to overcome the struggles of life." Shirley Lolis, Executive Director, Metro Health Association "Ashanti is a remarkable speaker, capable of moving a variety of audiences. When he was in Tallahassee, we had him speaking at the Criminal Justice Departments in Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and two prisons. The impact was awesome!" Dr. Laura Bedard, Dir., Criminal Justice Department, FSU "I first met Ashanti and Carol when they became associates in the Prepaid Legal Program. They quickly gained promotions, and became outstanding seminar presenters who helped our organization grow tremendously. I would recommend them for any seminar presentation." Dave Johnson, Regional Director & Area Coordinator, PPL "Ashanti Witherspoon has a remarkable testimony of hope. He survived the struggles of living in the bloodiest prison in the nation, for 27 1/2 years, where he became a man of God, leader, motivator and inspiration to everyone. His story is one that should be heard by every living person. It's a testimony of what God can and will do if we believe and have persistence." Justice Robert Downing, First Circuit Court of Appeals "As a conference presenter, lecturer and panelist, Ashanti Witherspoon is a must for anyone dealing with the criminal justice system." Dr. Geraldine Doucette, Criminal Justice & Sociology, TSU "Ashanti Witherspoon is a credit to what we, as humans, can overcome during long periods of adversity, and how we can use that period of struggle to transform our lives into a positive force for good." Warden Burl Cain, Louisiana State Penitentiary, Angola, La. "When Ashanti Witherspoon spoke at the First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina he delivered a message that touched the hearts of my congregation in such a way that we intend to have him back. God uses him in a mighty way. Rick Gaston, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, NC. "I first met Minister Witherspoon when he spoke at two programs in June 2003, Detroit, Michigan. The power of his presentation was so great until I brought him to our Christian Men's Conference (Hurumbee) in September, 2003. His presentations were awesome, and I can state that he was a great contribution to the event." Dennis Talbert, Pastor/Student Ministries, Rosedale Baptist Church, Detroit, MI. "I have been involved in a number of programs with Ashanti Witherspoon, and have always been impressed by the power that God releases through his presentations. His life experiences give him the wisdom to help any church or organization shape programs to assist ex-offenders in their successful transition back into society." Ron Dinnocenzo, Regional Director, Prison Fellowship
"God created us to be expressions of His power and righteousness upon the earth. We are supposed to say and do things in such a way that those actions will impact the lives of everyone we come into contact with, and change the situations (positively) that we encounter. When we can live our lives in that manner we become the expressions of the power of Christ." G. Ashanti Witherspoon
